The motive behind this blog is to capture the features of Hindi spoken in Bihar . How we(Biharis) speak and what finally we write is totally different.
Not to mention the pretty obvious difference which others find while interacting.
I am just capturing whatever occurs pretty regularly.
1.use of हम instead of मैं.
2.use of इ, ऊ ,का
ई का हो रहा हैं बे ?
3.use of masculine gender for anything which is non-living.
वही बातेँ हो रहा था .
While masculine gender can sometimes be true ,but in many cases where feminine gender is required people go through with masculine gender.Above mentioned example should have रहीं . While writing
people go by the book but while speaking .....
Similar examples are हुआ ,हुई and बहता हैं ,बहती हैं .
Numerous such examples are there .
4. Use of singular every where . there is no चार रोटियाँ ,it invariably is चार ठो /गो रोटी .This is as widespread as the masculine gender thing.
5. Lastly the famous stretching of words.
"kahiiiiye na diye the."
"chaliyeee raha hain ab tak."
"ho sakta hain ki jaibo kare , na th nahiooo ja sakte hain."
I would like to know the reasons behind frequent usage masculine gender & singular noun?
Apart from that I find it to be easy and kooool.
